With summer comes melting makeup, smudged eyeliner, and super sticky hair; therefore, it is important to provide proper hydration and relief to your skin and hair as the temperature rises.
For Make-up
Be light - 'less product more effect' should be your motto during the summer. The less product you use, the lighter your skin will be and your make-up will not be heavy. It is a known fact that summer makes your skin sweat and adding more makeup to the face will contribute to this. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use products with antibacterial properties.
Replace your foundation with a concealer to hide imperfections and feel light. Products with an SPF of at least 30++ are a must. Creams are also a great option as they can replace hydrating and tinted foundation. In summer, use more light water-based products to feel light in heat and perspiration. Cut your makeup products to less than half and use the least.
Attribute multitasking with your makeup - Invest in a product that does it all - for lips, eyelids and cheeks. This will both cut your routine in half and also help keep your bag light. Choose from summery gloss or light lip and cheek hues, as they add a healthy glow with minimalist colors.
Switch to waterproof - Invest in waterproof eyeliner, mascara, and eyeliner. With rising temperatures, a person tends to rub and wipe their face regularly. This can result in occasional smudging or fading. Choose from highly pigmented or lightly pigmented waterproof eye products to keep the look as fresh as morning.
